Suspicious package found at Glasgow Airport
Bomb disposal experts were called to Glasgow Airport after a suspect package was discovered.
A worker found the package in a cargo area shortly after 11am. Police set up a 150-metre exclusion zone and a Royal Navy bomb disposal team arrived at the scene at 2:30pm.
Airport spokesman Brian McClean said “There was no danger to public safety and it was business as usual at the airport.”
