RNLI volunteer crew member LLewi Bailey said: “This was my first rescue as a crew member and it is good to know that all the training has paid off. The family did exactly the right thing by calling for assistance, had their lifejackets on and complied with every instruction given. We are also very grateful to Gordon on the MV Monadliath who took the family out of the rain and made them very comfortable, exactly the response you’d expect from the maritime community.”
