Railway signallers vote for strike

RAIL staff at the West of Scotland Signalling Centre have voted by a margin of eight to two in favour of taking industrial action over a dispute concerning the sudden ending of a long-standing local employment arrangement.

The RMT union said that the “overwhelming mandate” to strike would now be presented to the management in attempt to resolve the dispute.
