Pedestrian dies after lorry accident

A 67-YEAR-OLD man has died after being hit by a lorry near a roundabout, police said.

The man was crossing Clarkston Road in Busby, East Renfrewshire, at about 10:40am yesterday when the incident happened.

Emergency services attended, but the man died at the scene. The 47-year-old man driving the lorry was uninjured.
