Pedestrian dies after being hit by car in Fife

A pedestrian has died after he was hit by a car in Fife in the early hours of the morning.

The incident occurred on the A915 Largo Road in Leven, Fife.

The 59-year-old man was on the A915 Largo Road in Leven, Fife, when he was struck by the vehicle at around 2.20am on Sunday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 22-year-old man driving the car was not injured.

A police spokesman said: "Officers are keen to hear from any witnesses to the crash, or any motorists in the area at the time with dashcam footage.

"Locals are also being asked to check house CCTV footage for anything that could help."

The road was closed while officers carried out investigations.
