Motorcyclist dies after Glencoe A82 crash

A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a car on a rural road.

The man sustained serious injuries and died at the scene of the crash which took place at 11.05am on the A82 between Glencoe Village and Glencoe Ski Centre in the Highlands, said police.

There were two people in the car who were taken to Belford Hostpial in Fort William with minor injuries.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said its crews used a hose reel to dampen the vehicles.

The A82 south of Glencoe Village has been closed to traffic in both directions while investigations are carried out.

Police have asked that anyone with information contact them by calling 101.
