Motorbike driver dies in collision with car
A man has died after a crash involving his motorbike and a car on an unclassified road.
The crash in Aberdeenshire happened at about 2pm yesterday on the stretch between the B976 South Deeside Road at Strachan and the B974 Cairn o’Mount road and involved a blue Suzuki GSXR motorcycle and a grey Toyota Hilux car, Police Scotland said.
The road was closed for more than eight hours with local diversions in place.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or saw either of the vehicles being driven to come forward.
