Mr Skerry was from Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire. His relatives have been informed and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

Police said their sympathies were with his family at such a difficult time. The Breda was a Dutch steamer which sank after being attacked by a German plane in 1942.
