Man seriusly injured in hit-and-run

A MAN was in a critical condition last night after a hit-and run-incident, police said.

The 49-year-old was taken to the Royal Alexandra hospital in Paisley after suffering serious injuries. The incident happened at about 6:45am yesterday in Magnus Road, Houston, Renfrewshire.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area to contact them.
