Man rescued from burning city flat

A MAN has been taken to hospital after being rescued by firefighters who had to force entry to his flat in Edinburgh.

Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue were called to a blaze in Burnhead Crescent, Liberton, at around 3:30pm yesterday.The 58-year-old man was being treated for burns.
