Man dies after being hit repairing car in Glasgow

They were in the process of recovering the vehicle in Scotland Street, Glasgow, when the collision happened at around 6.20pm yesterday.
The two men, aged 62 and 48, were taken to the city’s Southern General Hospital.

Hide AdThe 62-year-old died and the 48 year old man is in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the BMW was not injured but was left badly shaken by the incident.
Police appealed for information about the collision which happened on the the westbound carriageway of Scotland Street, near to Shields Road and involved a Mercedes recovery vehicle.
The road was closed for several hours for crash scene investigations.
