A man has died after falling from a mountain in Glencoe.

The 44-year-old, who has not been named, fell on the Aonach Eagach Ridge on Saturday.

Police and a search-and-rescue helicopter were sent to the scene but the man had sustained fatal injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “As with all sudden deaths, a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
