Man, 20, killed in Fife hit and run

POLICE are searching for a driver who fled his vehicle after it struck and killed a young man in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The 20-year-old pedestrian was knocked down on the A911 High Street in Leslie, Fife, at around 3:15am.

Fife Police said the driver abandoned his silver Ford Focus at the scene. Chief Inspector Davie McCulloch has appealed to the public to help track down the driver and any passengers who were in the car.
