M8: Two women are in hospital after a motorway crash near Airdrie
Traffic is moving slowly in this area after emergency services have reopen the road.
The crash is reported to have occurred between Junction six and five.

Hide AdA Police Scotland spokesperson: “Around 9.25 am on Friday, 16 October, 2020, police and emergency services were called to a two vehicle road crash on the M8 between J5 and J6 eastbound - between Airdrie and Shotts.
“Two women (driver from each car) were taken to Wishaw General Hospital.
“Road re-opened - two lanes - approx. 10.25 am.”
There are no details on injuries at the moment.
