Late night car crash closes busy Scottish road

Emergency services were called to the A92 in Fife shortly after 10pm.

A road traffic collision last night saw the closure of a stretch of the A92 in Fife.

Police and ambulance were called to the road, near the A909 (Cowdenbeath) and B9149 (Lochgelly) junctions last night.

All lanes were then closed southbound.

This morning, Police Scotland said more information was expected shortly.

On social media, one user posted: “Really bad accident. Car in field. Lots of emergency services on scene. Doesn't look great.”
