Investigation underway after stones thrown at cars

POLICE in Aberdeen have launched an investigation after stones were thrown at vehicles near one of the city’s busiest roundabouts.

A spokesman for the Aberdeen City Division of Police Scotland said the force was appealing for witnesses after stones were thrown at vehicles on North Anderson Drive, in Aberdeen on Tuesday night.

He said: “ The incident occurred about 10pm on Tuesday near to the Haudagain roundabout and, as a result, two cars and a lorry were damaged. However the consequences could have been more serious and police would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the incident or have information about the matter.”
