The incident, which saw one man treated for minor injuries, happened at around 3.15pm and was attended by police and ambulance crews.
A police spokesman said no one else was believed to have been injured in the crash, and it is not yet known how the incident occurred.
A Nissan Juke, Citroën Xantia, Ford Escort and Skoda Fabia were all involved.
The police spokesman said: “Police attended the scene at around 3.15pm. One man received minor injuries and the incident was blocking the road.”
