FlyBe unveils new Scotland-Cornwall flights

REGIONAL airline Flybe is launching new direct links between Scotland and Cornwall later this month.

New Saturday services will connect Glasgow and Newquay, from 21 May until 24 September, while flights will also be launched from Aberdeen to Newquay on 28 May and run until 3 September.

Flybe is also restarting its direct service from Edinburgh to Newquay on 28 May, running until 3 May.

Flights will depart from Glasgow at 2.25pm, arriving in Newquay at 4.05pm, or from Newquay at 8.30pm, arriving in Glasgow at 10.05pm.

Flights to Edinburgh will depart from Newquay at 1.15pm, arriving at 2.55pm, or from Edinburgh at 7am, arriving in Newquay at 8.40am.

Meanwhile, flights to Aberdeen will depart from Newquay at 5.10pm, arriving at 7.15pm, or from Aberdeen at 4.40pm, arriving in Newquay at 6.05pm.

Flybe chiefs said they had created a schedule from Newquay that delivers travel options that are affordable for customers travelling to and from Cornwall.
