Fishermen rescued after boat sinks

Six fishermen have been rescued after their boat sank in the North Sea.

The crew of the Banff-registered Audacious made it into a life raft about 45 miles off Aberdeen, before being picked up at about 3:30pm yesterday.

Helicopters from RAF Lossiemouth and a Danish naval ship were also scrambled to the scene. The Aberdeen Coastguard said none of the men had been injured.
