The statement continued: “After living in Aberdeen, Mary moved back home to New Deer, to give her children a better childhood, as she lived for her two children and worked to make sure they were always happy. We now have to begin the incredibly difficult task of trying to come to terms with the loss of Mary, who will be hugely missed and we would appreciate privacy while we mourn.”
