Family pay tribute to '˜one in a million' teenager after Kirkcaldy crash

The family of the second teenager to die following a car crash in Fife have described him as 'one in a million'.

Connor Aird, from Kirkcaldy, was a passenger in a black Vauxhall Corsa that crashed near the town on November 11.

The 17-year-old died of his injuries at Edinburgh’s Western General Hospital on Friday.

In a statement released via police, Connor’s family said: “He was one in a million who will be missed by all.”

The collision at around 8.45am on the A915 Standing Stane Road also claimed the life of another young man of the same age.

Front-seat passenger Ethan King was pronounced dead at the scene.

An 18-year-old man remains in hospital in a stable condition.

A 17-year-old man driving the car was taken to hospital in Dundee with serious injuries and has been arrested in connection with the incident.
