Driver dies after hitting power line

The driver of a forestry harvester was killed when his vehicle hit an overhead power line and caught fire.

The man, who has not been identified, died at the scene in woodland on the Isle of Skye. Emergency services were called to the A87 between Kyleakin and Broadford shortly after 1pm. Power was switched off to allow rescuers access to the scene.
