A DRIVER whose friend died in a crash when he got behind the wheel drunk has had his eight-year sentence for careless driving reduced.
Anthony Grant, 21, was on holiday with victim John Quinnin in Dumfries and Galloway in June 2011. Appeal judges reduced his sentence to seven years and four months.
