The driver was stopped at Junction 31 by Glasgow Road Police on Sunday March 1.

Police Scotland wrote on Twitter: “We conduct regular speed checks as part of our role.

“We don’t expect to see someone almost flying at 130MPH on the #M8 J31.

“Wholly unacceptable and places themselves and other road users in danger.

“Driver reported for #DangerousDriving by #GlasgowRP

“#CanISeeYourPilotsLicence.”
