A BOY of seven was in a critical condition in hospital last night after being knocked down by a car.

He was hit by a silver vehicle in Strathtay Road, Perth, at about 3:30pm yesterday and taken by ambulance to Perth Royal Infirmary. Police closed the road as part of their investigation.
