Biker killed in Highlands crash is named

A biker killed in a one-vehicle crash in the Highlands at the weekend has been named.

Ian Hutchison, 51, from Tuxford, Nottinghamshire, died after crash on the A87 Invergarry to Kyle road on Saturday.

He was travelleing north on a blue Suziki when the accident happened near Bun Loyne shortly before 5pm.

Police Scotland said the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved and the biker had sustained fatal injruies.

The road was closed for several hours while road policing officers carried out investigations.
