Air-France KLM faces strike threat

Air France-KLM received a warning of industrial action yesterday as it prepared a broad management shake-up.

The threat by the CFDT, one of France’s largest unions, put the airline’s possible new management on notice that the strike-prone airline could be in for more turbulence over calls for substantial new cost-savings. But its shares soared on investor hopes of a restructuring.
