3rd person dies after Torness crash

A THIRD person has died following a two-car crash on the A1 near Torness in East Lothian last week, Police Scotland said today.

David Forsyth, 23, from Invergordon in Easter Ross, was driving a Ford Focus which collided with a Ford Ka on Thursday, 9 January.

Dawn Morris, 21, the driver of the Ka, died at the scene, and a rear-seat passenger Claire Jamieson, 21, died later in hospital. Both were from Cowdenbeath in Fife.

Police are still investigating the crash and appealed to any drivers who saw it to contact them on 101.
