Transformation will go on, says Chavez

President Hugo Chavez told state TV yesterday that he has no intention of ceasing his efforts to transform Venezuela into a socialist country.

"There's no end here, this is going to continue," he said of his "Bolivarian Revolution", named after Simon Bolivar, the 19th-century independence hero.
