Training for city planners

MEMBERS of the city's planning committee are to attend a series of awareness-raising training sessions.

Training for members has taken place annually since 2007 as part of a "programme of culture change" in planning.

This year's series of workshops will begin with a session on Homes for Scotland that will involve representatives of the housebuilding sector on September 2.

Future sessions will take place on planning sub-committee meetings, street design, and the work of Transport Scotland.
