Pender, 27, of Livingston, West Lothian, appeared for sentence yesterday after pleading guilty at an earlier hearing.

He admitted being concerned in the supply of the class A drug at his home in the town’s Nigel Rise on March 7 last year.

Sheriff Edington said: “What we have here is a serious offence of supplying class ‘A’ drugs. The courts say such offences will be punished severely, so you will go to prison for 13 months and two weeks.”
