After the service, a private burial for the Motherwell College student will be held at Cambusnethan Cemetery.

Zoe's family were left devastated after her charred remains were found on waste ground on 23 May.

The teenager was a car enthusiast who had nearly completed her one year course in vehicle body repair when she was killed.

In the wake of her death, friends described Zoe, who was a member of a Christian youth group, as a popular and responsible young woman.

Zoe was said to be 'football-daft' and played for a ladies team before getting a part-time job as a steward at Motherwell's Fir Park Stadium.

Last week members of her local community rallied round to raise 3200 to pay for a headstone for Zoe at a memorial night. The event was held in Robin's Bar in Newmains.

A close family friend said: "Zoe's death left the community stunned.

"She was a lovely, quiet girl who was well liked by everyone who met her, I'm sure her funeral will be extremely emotional for everyone.

"We wanted to show our support to the family by making sure Zoe gets the dignified send-off she deserves."

Robert Bayne, 20, appeared in private at Hamilton Sheriff Court on 1 June charged with Zoe's murder.
