Tory MP cleared of alleged sex assault

NO ACTION will be taken against Tory MP Andrew Bridgen over allegations of sexual assault.

Mr Bridgen, 46, was arrested early on 9 June after a 29-year-old woman made a police complaint. The North West Leicestershire MP vigorously denied any wrongdoing and yesterday Scotland Yard told him the case is being dropped.
