Top marks for primary

A WEST Lothian primary school is celebrating after receiving an outstanding report from education inspectors.

Peel Primary, in Livingston, was awarded the top mark of "excellent" in two of the five areas evaluated.

The school was assessed as "very good" in all other categories.

They also singled out the strong commitment of the head teacher and staff.
