Top Gear cleared over Mexican jokes

AN EPISODE of Top Gear that caused controversy with jokes about Mexicans has been cleared by the broadcasting watchdog.

Ofcom received 157 complaints but said the show was well-known for its "irreverent style and sometimes outspoken humour".
