Top award is the business

Jane Wood, chief executive of Scottish Business in the Community, has been presented with a top industry award.

Ms Wood was awarded the Institute of Directors Scotland's SVCO Voluntary Sector Director of the Year Award.

She received the award in recognition of her innovative leadership, drive in growing membership by more than 20 per cent in 18 months and the development of SBC programmes and partnerships.

Ms Wood said: "I am delighted to receive this award, not only personally, but in recognition of the work of Scottish Business in the Community."
