Tom Kitchin presents top hospitality student award

A SIXTH-year pupil at Dalkeith High School has been named as Scotland’s top hospitality student.

Ashley Glen, who beat more than 7000 pupils, was presented with her award by Michelin-star chef Tom Kitchin, and was described as “having a talent for cooking and an ability to display an excellent range of skills”.

Ashley will receive £250 from Quality Meat Scotland and her high school will also receive the same amount in meat vouchers.
