Tollcross road closed after man injured
A ROAD in Tollcross was cordoned off earlier today after a man suffered serious injuries.
Police and paramedics were called to Glen Street at 10.30am after reports a man had been taken ill.
A police spokeswoman said: “A 59-year-old man has been taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he is in a serious condition.
“There appear to be no suspicious circumstances and enquiries are ongoing at this stage.”
