Timmy Mallett launches Scots landscape exhibition

80s kids’ TV presenter Timmy Mallett is best known for his effusive style and wild dress sense - but now he’s turned his hand to painting Scottish landscapes.

Mallett, 58, is showcasing a selection of his paintings at Broughty Ferry, Dundee.

Mallett said: “I just love Scotland. It provides me with so much inspiration and the scenery takes my breath away.

“When I get home I simply have to get my paintbrushes out and get these scenes down on canvas.”
