Three men stabbed in late-night attack

POLICE are investigating after three men were stabbed yesterday.

The victims were attacked by three men at a house in Saltcoats, Ayrshire, at about 1:15am.

The injured men were taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock. One, who had sustained head and back injuries, was kept in hospital.

The other two men were treated for head injuries before being released.

Strathclyde Police are appealing for witnesses and have released descriptions of the alleged attackers.

They were all white males. Two of the suspects were in their early twenties and heavily built. One of them was described as 6ft tall, wearing a black T-shirt with white writing.
