Three in court in Aberdeen after £200k drugs seize

THREE men are expected to appear to Aberdeen Sheriff Court today following the recovery of Class A drugs with a street value of almost £200,000 in the city.

A spokesman for Grampian Police said: “Grampian Police recovered class A drugs with an estimated street value of £180,000 and a mid four figure sum of cash from an address in Aberdeen on Friday. Three men, aged 33, 31 and 27, were arrested and charged with being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug. They are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today. “

Detective Inspector Graeme Mackie, who led the investigation, said: “This is a significant seizure of drugs, which is the result of an intelligence-led policing operation.

“The intelligence and support we receive from members of the community are vital to us and we will continue to conduct such operations in response to community concerns to take dangerous drugs off our streets.”
