Three freed from cars

THREE people had to be cut free from wreckage after two separate smashes on city roads.

A 64-year-old man became trapped in his vehicle following a three-car collision outside Cameron Toll Shopping Centre at 10am yesterday.

Then at 2.40pm, two elderly women had to be cut free from their car following a head-on crash on Ravelston Dykes Road.
