Three economists share Nobel prize

A BRITON and two Americans have shared this year's Nobel economics prize for developing theories that help explain how policies can affect unemployment.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said Christopher Pissarides and Americans Peter Diamond and Dale Mortensen won the award "for analysis of markets with search frictions".
