Thousands of pounds of damage in Dundee vandalism

POLICE Scotland officers in Dundee are investigating thousands of pounds worth of damage caused by vandals to properties in the west end of the city.

A force spokesman said: “Sometime between 10pm last night and 5am this morning graffiti was sprayed over more than 40 garage doors, walls, and house doors on Blackness Road at its junction with Seymour Street all the way up to Glamis Road and into Dickson Avenue. Even a trailer parked on Blackness Road was tagged.”

He added: “Anyone who witnessed the graffiti taking place, or anyone who knows who might be responsible, should get in touch with Police Scotland Tayside Division on 101 or speak to any police officer. Information can also be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
