Thousands fly off for Easter

THOUSANDS of holidaymakers are set to escape the Capital this weekend with a trip abroad.

More than 27,000 jetted off from Edinburgh Airport to enjoy an Easter getaway yesterday.

Today, 20,000 people are scheduled to fly off, with 23,000 tomorrow and 27,000 on Monday.
