Third man charged over £1m Rox robbery

A THIRD man is due to appear in court accused of taking part in a £1 million robbery from a George Street jewellery shop.

Police said a 25-year old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the robbery of the Rox store, which happened on January 15.

The man is scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court tomorrow.

Aldaire Warmington, 26, was last month ordered to stand trial accused of taking part in the robbery. Mr Warmington, from Manchester, made no plea or declaration when he previously appeared in court.

Elliot Jorgensen, 25, from Salford, has also been remanded in custody on similar charges pending trial in connection with the Rox raid.
