Third arrest over ‘£1m’ Rox jewellers robbery

A third man has been arrested in connection with the robbery at the Rox jewellery shop in George Street.

Aldaire Warmington, 26, of Salford, near Manchester, appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday. He made no plea or declaration to a charge which alleges that he robbed Rox in George Street, Edinburgh, on

15 January.

Sheriff Isabella McColl remanded Warmington in custody. He is expected to make another appearance in court at some point over the next week.

On Friday, Lincoln Warmington, 26, and Elliot Jorgensen, 25, were also remanded in custody after making no plea or declaration to the same charge at a hearing before Sheriff Donald Corke.
