Thieves target lead on roofs

THIEVES targeted lead from the roofs of a dental practice and security firm in separate incidents.

In the first incident, a quantity of lead was stripped from a dentists in West Street, Penicuik, overnight on 5 April. The following night thieves tried to strip lead from the roof of Pentland Security in The Loan, Loanhead.
