Theresa Riggi: Schooling a 'flashpoint' in relationship

A FRIEND who met Theresa Riggi through a homeschooling group said last night that arguments over the children's education had been a major "flashpoint" in the Riggis' marriage.

Amber Sebold, 27, from Peterhead, a mother-of-three, said the three children had come from "the most loving family home you could imagine".

But Mrs Sebold said the one dispute that drove a wedge between the couple that she knew of was over the homeschooling of their three children.

Mrs Sebold, who moved to Scotland from Missouri and whose husband Arron, 33, also works in the oil industry, said: "Obviously, Pasquale and Theresa had their issues and homeschooling was part of that but I tried to keep out of that.

"I would have never in a million years thought she would have hurt them.

"Her whole world revolved around them."
