The art of living freely

A cellist and a painter described how they made it from Athens to Edinburgh without any money and survived solely on their art.

Janie Price, 34, and Johan Andersson, 24, sold paintings, put on shows and often slept rough and survived on discarded biscuits for forthcoming television show The Art of Survival.

They told a crowd at The Roxy Art House on Saturday how they managed to cart all their equipment - cello, amp, paints, canvases, and personal possessions - through Europe without any financial assistance whatsoever.
